Christmas

This Christmas season we tried really hard to focus on what the real meaning of the season was about. We did all of the traditional stuff, Cda lights cruise, gingerbread houses, cookie decorating, ect...but we tried to push really hard that Christmas wasn't about presents or santa, that the real reason we celebrate is to remember Christ's birth. That being said, there are a few pictures of the "traditional" things that we did, but the most memorable thing to me was being able to ask my kids about Christmas and have them tell me about Christ and not Santa.
Random side note...when you get to the "North Pole", they have Santa read a list of the kids that are on the "Nice List", well, we were the last people to get on the boat, so my kids names were the last ones read. Preston was sweating bullets, he kept turning and asking me if he was on the naughty list. Me, being the mean mom I am, hehehehe...I kept him on his toes.... I teased him the whole time with things like, "maybe you should have been nicer to your teacher before break, ect..." it was pretty funny. He was quite relieved to hear his name called at the end.
